aInformation Technology Internship

    The internship should be scheduled for the semester before you graduate. You must have taken Systems Analysis and Design and fifty-five credit hours before you register for the internship. It is intended to give you on-the-job experience which will help you get that first "real" job after you graduate.

    You will work at an internship site fifteen hours per week for the sixteen weeks of the semester. The tasks you perform on the job must be above the level of data entry and should give you experience doing the kind of job you will be looking for after graduation.

The Employer's Cooperative Agreement form is signed by the company with which you are interning; it specifies the employer's obligations to you and to SCC. The Student's Agreement Form is the document which you sign; it specifies your obligations to you employer and to SCC.
