What's New in the MM Center? No, there were still chocolate, peanuts, or crunchies in the middle of my last handful of the candy that melts in your mouth.

This week's training session is "Using Mimio", a device that captures your presentations done on whiteboards.

Our New Tech feature is "Atomic Learning". Visit this site to learn how to use Word, Powerpoint, Excel, Photoshop, and more.

The Special of the Week will appeal to those in need of additional memory.

For those who are dealing with troublesome technology, help is on the way at these Sites of the Week.

Mimio

Mimio records presentations (boards) that are written on whiteboards. These "boards" can be saved to a computer and later posted as web pages. Instructors are using Mimio to record development of formulas, points in a planning process, and class notes. Students may download the Mimio software for free in order to play the presentations. Advanced users add audio and video to presentations. With additional software (Boardcast) and Netmeeting and an Internet connection, collaborative sessions can be conducted in real time.

Visit the
Training Page for a list additional training opportunities.
