John Bybee

John Bybee joined the SCC faculty in the fall of 2000. Previously, he served as an adjunct professor of art at Lincoln University in Jefferson City, MO. He earned his master of fine arts degree in painting and drawing from the Pennsylvania Academy of Fine Arts in 1996. His work has been included in numerous exhibits across the nation, including showings at the Voxpopuli Gallery in Philadelphia, PA; the Sheldon Swope Art Museum, Terre Haute, IN; and the St. Louis Artists' Guild, St. Louis, MO. His works are part of many private and corporate collections to include Emerson Electric and Sun Corporation. His Past works explored the imagery of man-made structures as connectors to emotional reference.
